Festiwal Tańca w Assen (Holandia) odbędzie się  po raz 34 w dniach od 9 do 15 listopada 2009 roku.

Poniżej prezentujemy oświadczenia zainteresowanych stron:

Międzynarodowa Federacja DanceSport (IDSF) wydała poniższe oświadczenie dotyczące Otwartych Mistrzostw Holandii odbywających się w listopadzie w Assen (Holandia).

W imieniu prezydium IDSF, informujemy że Otwarte Mistrzostwa Holadnii 2009, odbywające się w Assen zostały zarejestrowane przez przedstawicielstwo IDSF w Holandii - NADB. W związku z tym, zawody są otwarte dla wszystkich sportowców zarejestrowanych w systemie rejestracyjnym ISDF. Każdy tancerz bądź para nie chcąca zarejestrować się  w systemie ISDF nie otrzyma pozwolenia na start w zawodach. Wszystkie konkursy amatorskie odbywające się w Assen będą rozgrywać się według zasad IDSF/NABD.


Prezydent NADB, Loek Hogenhout  oraz Fred Bijster z ramienia Stiching Dans International (SDI),  organizator Otwartych Mistrzostw Holandii, podpisali porozumienie.

• NADB uznaje zawody w Assen jako zawody o charakterze otwartym.
• Zamiarem NADB jest porozumienie na czas nieokreślony.
• Wszyscy tancerze/ pary amatorskie rejestrujące się na zawody w Assen muszą być zarejestrowane w systemie IDSF. NADB będzie sprawować pieczę nad zgodnością i poprawnym przebiegiem rejestracji.
• Większość tancerzy/par to osoby już zarejestrowane w systemie IDSF. Jeśli nie figurują w rejestrze, NADB dokona ich rejestracji pod flagą holenderską.
• Jeśli tancerz/para odmówią rejestracji w systemie IDSF, nie będą mogli uczestniczyć w zawodach.
• Wszystkie konkursy amatorskie odbywające się w Assen będą rozgrywać się według zasad IDSF/NABD.
• NADB poinformuje IDSF o porozumieniu, aby status zawodów w Assen został zaktualizowany na internetowej stronie IDSF.
• Tak NADB jak i SDI zobowiązują się w sposób neutralny traktować zawody w Assen. Żadna ze stron nie będzie przypisywać sobie sukcesów ani porażek żadnego rodzaju.
• Wszelkie informacje prasowe i komunikaty będą zatwierdzane przez obie strony przed publikacją.
• Kontakt między stronami będzie jawny.
• SDI i NADB wyrażają zadowolenie z uzyskania porozumienia mającego na uwadze najlepszy interes narodowych i zagranicznych tancerzy sportowych.

The International DanceSport Federation releases the following statement regarding the Dutch Open held in Assen, NED, in November 2009.

On behalf of the IDSF Presidium, we kindly inform you that the 2009 Dutch Open Assen event is a registered event by our IDSF Member Body in The Netherlands (NADB) and therefore, an Open Competition for all IDSF Athletes who are registered in the IDSF Registration System. Any dancer/couple that does not want to be registered in the IDSF Registration System will not be allowed to enter the competitions.
All amateur competitions in Assen will be run under IDSF/NADB Rules and Regulations.

NADB president Loek Hogenhout and Fred Bijster on behalf Stichting Dans Internationaal (SDI), the organizer of the Dutch Open Championships, have signed an agreement.

Agreement between SDI and  NADB regarding the 2009 Dutch Open Championships Assen

• NADB recognizes Assen as an Open Competition.
• The intention of NADB is to have an agreement for an unlimited number of years.
• All amateur dancers/couples that enter the Assen competitions have to be registered in the IDSF Registration System. NADB will check the correctness and completeness of this process.
• Most couples will have an IDSF registration already. If not, NADB will register them as a couple dancing under the Dutch flag.
• Any dancer/couple that does not want to be registered in the IDSF Registration System will not be allowed to enter the competitions.
• All amateur competitions in Assen will be run under IDSF/NADB Rules and Regulations.
• NADB will inform IDSF on the agreement so the status of Assen can be changed on the IDSF website.
• Both NADB and SDI will communicate about the position of Assen in a neutral way. Neither party will claim victories or knee falls of any kind.
• Every press release or other communication item will be approved by NADB and SDI before publication.
• All communication will be transparent (no hidden agenda's, no half truths).
• SDI and NADB are pleased to have reached an agreement that is in the best interest of national and international sport dancers.
